San Mateo California Trip
The show in San Mateo was wonderful and I had a great time, thanks to Regina Savage. Regina is the author of Mirror Makeovers, a great book. Some exciting things are going to happen very soon.
We had a great time and a lot of fun. Regina is from southern California and has been to San Francisco a few times, so she was a great guide.
I loved all the people I met at the show and look forward to returning again.

This is me an Regina and our first show together.

Small World!
Someone emailed me and said my dolls reminded them of a doll they got as a small child in Bishop Hill IL. The doll was signed "Vicki". I emailed her back and asked if the doll had a red embroidered heart on it's bottom? I also asked if the doll was purchased at the Antique Affair in Bishop Hill, IL.

This was her reply:

Oh my God, YES! I grew up in Bishop Hill and that is where I got my doll!!! You came and autographed her for me one day at the store. Funny how I can't remember a thing from high school geometry, but at 41 I can still remember that.

My doll has moved around the country with me, from Illinois, to Texas, to Arizona and now Ohio. I have looked for you on line for years, not knowing how to find you. I have always wanted a sibling for my doll. She is my favorite childhood memory and I have had many, many dolls but
none meant as much as this doll.

I am so excited to have found you at last.

God bless,
Michelle

My Trip with Liz

It has been quite a summer! Trips with my grandchildren and the pain of losing my father-in-law will make this a summer I will never forget. My grandson, Preston went to a show with me as documented in a post from 5/19.09, so to be fair it was my granddaughters turn. I had two shows close together and she wanted to do both. The first show was in Denver and the second in Long Beach, CA.

Later this month I will be going back to South Dakota to help my husband pack up his fathers house. Please enjoy the pictures below.

The Rocky Mountains were beautiful.
