Squirt's Mexican Adventure

Squirt is packed and ready to go to Mazatlan

Squirt loves to fly, he always keeps his seat belt fastened.

Squirt wasted no time getting a sombero.

He loves to dance around it.

Squirt is enjoying the culture and the sunshine.

Looking for adventure!

Meanwhile at home, I get a ransom note!

I flew to Mazatlan and began my search.

I asked two tourists if they had seen Squirt?

They told me that they thought he might be in a tower guarded by some iguanas.

Tower with iguanas guarding it, look closely in the vines.
Squirt was not there.

The ocean is so large, could he be out there?

I searched everywhere, who do I ask?
Who wants the ransom money?

The ramson is paid to Manual and Squirt is released!
I would have paid anything to get Squirt home.

Squirt is flying home looking out the window of the plane.
I bet he never leaves home without me again.

Safe at home, I just love that little boy!

More Denver Pictures

This is Brienna and her Dinky Baby made by Bobbi Joseph of Lakewood, CO.

Three generations, from left to right, Mary McGill, with her mother, Ramona Powell and daughter Katte Judd. Ramona is holding a Dinky Baby doll she made to give to Katte's daughter who is going to be three.
My Denver Story

I made it home safe with a few minor setbacks.

I drove through the Rocky Mountains of Denver by mistake

where I played chicken with some elks.

I got a speeding ticket trying to find a bathroom,
.
and drove in Arizona snow. It was a great trip.

The Phoenix Show Was GREAT!

My booth was full of patterns and supplies. I was ready and anxious for the first show of 2009 to begin. My anticipation was high.

My daughter was ready! Since the show was local, my daughter Ann agreed to help me at the show. We had a great time together.

I was ready for a fun time and anxious to meet new people. Hopefully even some who would love my patterns.

I met a girl with pink hair and asked if she would like to meet my doll with pink hair, Alexa Rose. I think they hit it off quite well. I can't wait for my youngest granddaughter to see the girl with pink-a-licious hair.

The show was coming to an end and I loved spending the time with my daughter, she is my inspiration.

I am tired but ready to go to Denver next week to meet all my friends and customers there. Hope to see some of you.
